MongoKong is a HTML5 Social-Gaming Platform that allows anyone and everyone to develop their own browser-based games as easily as they would a power-point presentation. With WYSIWYG level editors and a selection of built-in artwork, you can deploy games within minutes.
Games can be social, with real people representing characters within the game. Worlds can be created and shared with friends, where environments can change based on the actions of those that interact with your games.
Beyond that, each install can be extended through an eco-system of themes and plugins that can fully customise both the administrative and end user experience whilst also allowing for commerce, gamification and other social-features.
Built as a hosted service that can be integrated with Facebook and other social-networks, the entire platform can also be freely downloaded and hosted on your own servers as easily as a blog.
We have every intention of this becoming an OpenSource project that allows developers and designers to build their own eco-systems, and to extend the end-user experience to new and unimaginable heights, but in order to get things started, we are going to need some kick-arse artwork that we can share with the world.
Unfortunately, the artwork seen above and used within the video demo has been borrowed from somewhere and cannot be freely redistributed.
The lead-developers of this project are not artists, so are relying on the contribution of others. We will of course provide excellent exposure / credit for all artwork that is used in the initial release, and should the artwork have the opportunity to be commercialized, appropriate profit shares will be allocated.

We are in need of as much support as possible, so please spread the word and let people know about what we are trying to do. We are currently aiming for our first public release to be entirely Open-Source, but to do so, or even to increase the time-frame in which a first release can be made available, we could also use financial aid, on top of our call-out to artists everywhere and anyone willing to retweet and share...
